Today I went for a drive. I got a prophetic word picture for a leader friend of mine and her husband and I messaged her about it in an email. It had to do with 2 species of intertwining vines called Respect and Truth, one with darker green leaves than the other. It was a pretty cool picture. Actually really romantic, which is timely with Valentines around the corner.
There were several other elements to the vision and I realized that it came to me primarily because I was singing in worship already. Then out of that moment of worship, came the two of them into my mind. So I just started singing about good things I could see happening between them and it quickly turned into a quirky picture, so I had to record it all and send it to her. Yes, while driving. Don’t judge.
I don’t know if she thinks I’m weird, presumptuous or too spirit-y, but that’s not for me to worry about.
I’ll just continue to walk this out. Some people might, and that’s ok. As long as it’s encouraging and edifying and biblical, I really can’t go wrong.
